Trout Stocking Report: March 10, 2018.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Friday March 9th, we stocked 380 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows and brown trout from average range of 14 to 16 inches. The bigger trout were 22 to 26 inches, all rainbows. We doubled the stocking to make up for February’s bad weather conditions and Sport Show commitments.

On Saturday, April 7th: Project Healing Waters will be having its 2nd Annual Fly Fishing Tournament from 7am to 5pm. There is still availability for the event, please contact Dave Thomas at 814-241-2205 for details for this great cause. The event will only use 1.5 miles of the trout club waters at most, there will be open water for the members to fish towards the end of the project.

Trout Stocking: January 13, 2018.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Friday January 12th, we stocked 200 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows, brooks and brown trout from average range of 14 to 16 inches. The bigger trout were 22 to 26 inches, all rainbows and one golden trout again at 25 inches.

We were blessed to have gotten this stocking in due to outstanding weather, but winter is far from over. Please make good judgement decisions on adventuring to the club, especially when freezing rain or snow melt than re-freeze again that causes black ice conditions. You can park by the Lower Cabin or Power Line areas and walk down to the stream.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything, especially stream and road conditions, please call.
