On Thursday May 1st, we stocked 500 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows: 15 to 16 inches. The larger rainbows: 20 to 24 inches at 4 to 5 lbs. We also stocked a decent number of GOLDS in the 14 to 16 inch class.

On Saturday May 17th, The May Fly Project will have a fundraising event, there is 4 spots left to help kids in need. Check on FACEBOOK to there page for details. The Trout Club will still be open to members and guests on this Saturday.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Wednesday April 2nd we stocked 800 fish AGAIN in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows: 15 to 16 inches, Brooks: 14 to 16 inches. The larger “MEGAS” rainbows: 5 to 7 lbs. and all the Brown trout were 18 to 24 inches, some in the 5 to 8 lbs class.
The pond in the valley also received fresh trout the last 2 months, over 100 fish total.

The weekend of Saturday April 26th and Sunday April 27th will be open for normal weekend trips, the annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
event was canceled and will not be rescheduled.

On Friday, May 2nd will be the annual Allegheny Kiski Health Foundation trophy trout event. We are looking for volunteers to help judge for the event. Contact John Pastorek @ 724-316-0667 for details. The club will be closed for this event.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Friday March 7th we stocked 750 fish AGAIN in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows: 14 to 16 inches Brooks: 13 to 16 inches. The larger “MEGAS” rainbows: 8 to 10 lbs. Brooks: 3 to 3.5 lbs., 18 to 20 inches, and all the Brown trout were 20+ inches, 4 to 6 lbs.

We all know the the world has changed drastically within the last 5 years, and so has the YCTI… The YCTI staff have experienced plenty of challenges with maintenance and upgrades to the club. But we are experiencing backlash and behavioral issues from people. Questioning stocking trout, last years flood damages and time table of repairs, firewood at the pavilion and the blue gate entrance to the property and gate key usage. We are in the 30th season of YCTI and I have never seen or experienced entitlement at the club from some people. YCTI is a “BUSINESS” and I can tell some people can’t understand that. If your not happy with YCTI, then just move on.

On Friday October 4th, we stocked over 625 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows 13 to 19 inches and a low number of brown trout in the 15 to 18 inch class.

YCTI will be trying to work on numbers of trout in stockings due to the major drought we experienced this past summer.

In early April 2024, YCTI suffered some major damages to infrastructure and stream habit. The staff has been working every weekend to continue cleanup and a game plan on starting repairs this coming summer. PLEASE BE PATIENT with the time line of rebuilding and getting things back to normal… THANK YOU!!!

On Friday, March 22nd we stocked 70 fish in the stream and pond. The trout consisted rainbows,and GIANT brown trout. AGAIN, The Rainbo were sizes 15 to 17 inches. The MEGA BROWNS
were 23to 30 inches. The browns were again some of the best world class trout I’ve seen ever! 6 to 10 lbs.
